New coach of the national team! News before the matches with Serbia

The final stage of the preparation of our national cricket team for participation in the World T20 Championship qualifiers in Zone Europe has begun. Our team is in Group B1 and will play a qualifying tournament from July 22 to August 1 in Helsinki, Finland. Part of the preparation are the upcoming international matches with the Serbian team. They will be held today at 17:00, tomorrow at 13:30 and 17:00 and on Sunday at 9:30 on the cricket field in NSA “Vasil Levski”. Our team has a new coach – Andrew McClesfield, who is currently working as a consultant to the Spanish Cricket Federation.
We have 4 extremely interesting matches in our country according to the standards of international cricket T20, the return visit of Serbia to Belgrade on July 8-10, after which the squad that will travel to Finland will be determined. The matches in Bulgaria are also dedicated to the International Olympic Day and 20 years since the establishment of the Bulgarian Cricket Federation. Let us not forget that cricket in this version of the game is included again in the program of the Olympic Games in 2028 and will once again find its place in the Olympic family.
