The final games of the autumn review of the development of the sport of cricket in schools have ended in Pravets
Last weekend, the final games of the autumn review of the school cricket development in the country or the Project “10x10x10” of the Bulgarian Cricket Federation Union (BFC) were completed on the fields of the sports complex in the town of Pravets.
For the two days on Friday and Saturday, teams from two age groups, middle and senior year in schools from the country, participated in the final competitions. In the senior year finals, the best teams are: “Vocational School of Computer Technology”-Pravets, "Marin Popov", “Vocational High School "Marin Popov"-Sevlievo, "D-r Nikola Vasiliadi" High school-Gabrovo.
In the middle year schools, the winner without losing a match was the team of Secondary School St. Paisiy Hilendarski town of Kazanlak, with teacher Galina Gocheva. They won all matches, as well as the final match against the team of the "Hristo Botev" Primary School-Elin Pelin.
Exceptional progress was demonstrated by the teams of the "Hristo Botev" Primary School-Lesnovo, with teacher Silvia Ivanova and "Prof. Marin Drinov" Primary School – Kyustendil, with teacher Ivan Kostov.
The winners of the competition in the upper course were the representatives of the “Vocational School of Computer Technology”-Pravets. Their competitors also won the individual awards in the junior competitors under 17 years of age. These are Vasil Hristov from Pravets and Elena Krasteva also from Pravets.
The comprehensive winner in the review of the year for school cricket development in the country or the Project “10x10x10” is the team of the “Vocational School of Computer Technology”-Pravets.
The winners were awarded by the school director Nikolay Sirakov, the chairman of the Pravets cricket club Emil Kasapov, the chairman of the Bulgarian Cricket Federation Andrey Lilov and the founder and executive director of the federation, Prof. Nikolay Kolev.
For children and teenagers, before Christmas there will be also an indoor tournament for the Municipal Council Cup in the town of Elin Pelin on December 14, 2024, where we will close the cricket season for the year.
