The team of the British Embassy in Bulgaria, Ambassador XI, won the charity cricket tournament for the Roger Short Cup.
On 07.09.2024, a charity cricket tournament was held at the NSA ground in memory of the British consul Roger Short, who died in an attack in Istanbul.
The team of the British Embassy defeated the visiting team from England, Allez Les Bloggers, with 5 wickets, thus winning the cup. Sofia Stars from the capital came second, after winning by 25 runs against Allez Les Bloggers.
