Strong cricket tournament kicks off in Sofia. Winner goes to Champions League

The third edition of the European Cricket Series in Sofia T10 has started at the cricket field of the National Sports Academy (NSA), featuring the five best Bulgarian teams, and the winner of which qualifies for the final edition of the European Cricket Champions League in 2023. The teams of: CC Academic SF, CC Indo-Bulgarian Cricket, CC Bulgarian Student Cricket Union, CC "Blacksmiths" Gabrovo and CC VTU will play two matches each against each other, with the first four teams forming the semi-final pairs, and the winners going to the grand final for qualification and participation in the European Cricket Champions League. The games starts today until Saturday at 09:00, 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00, with the Bulgarian Cricket Federation providing professional online broadcasting of all games and with commentary in English at: www.ecn.cricket / the official website of the European Cricket League /

"We have created a very good organization for the tournament, because it is watched live from all over the world and we tried our best to ensure that everything is high level. The teams are motivated to show their best, because the stakes are high and the winner will play in the European Champions League next year. We also have many guests from abroad who are watching the games and their assessments are more than positive, both for the game and for our overall work as an organizing committee. I would like to invite everyone who loves the game of cricket to come to NSA and watch the games from the spectator areas. The semi-finals and finals will be on Saturday (April 23) at 09:00 and 11:00, the match for 3-4 place starts at 13:00, and the final match at 15:00.
